The Playground Project at Chara House in Punta Gorda
is complete....The project was funded by a grant of
$1500 from the Foundation and then matched by the 3
local club, the Punta Gorda Club, Port Charlotte Club,
and Port Charlotte
Sunrise at $500 each.
The project was completed February 16th by spreading a
rubberized mulch as
ground cover on the playground by volunteers.

| The Florida
Kiwanis Foundation recently gave $10,000 to the Habitat
for Humanity project of building Nancy's House, in
memory of Nancy Liddell. The contribution combines with
funds from Kiwanis International Foundation and the
Jesuit High School Key Club. Kiwanians are invited
to the wall-raising (ground-breaking ceremony) at 9AM on
April 4th in Plant City.
